Code of Conduct

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the flora and fauna and to ensure the enjoyment of other trail users, the following ethics and code of conduct must be observed.
  • No motorized vehicles (including snowmobiles, motor bikes, or ATV’s)
  • Please do not litter; use the containers.
  • No fires or camping allowed here. Camping is available in Darlington Provincial Park.
  • No excessive noise.
  • No firearms.
  • Vandalism will not be tolerated.
  • There are no dogs allowed on the Bob Mills Boardwalk Trail, or in the McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve.
  • Dogs are allowed on the main paved trail (the Ed Kroll Memorial Walkway) only if on a leash.
  • No fishing or boating allowed in Second Marsh.
There are no washroom facilities or telephones available on site. The nearest public washrooms are located in Lakeview Park, Oshawa, and Darlington Provincial Park.
