Friends of Second Marsh invites you to become involved in the celebration of one of Ontario’s most exciting urban wildlife areas. Become a member, participate in one of our programs, donate your time or services, encourage your work or other local businesses to sponsor our newsletter, or contact our office at (905) 723-5047 to find out about other ways that you can help the environment by helping Friends.
Become a  Volunteer
Friends of Second Marsh requires volunteers for a wide range of activities and programs that operate throughout the year. Purple loosestrife pulling, boardwalk building, clean-up days, assisting with children’s crafts at community events; these are just a few of the volunteer positions that are available. Become a Member
Become a member of Friends of Second Marsh and receive:
  • copies of Wetlands and Wildlife
  • an invitation to our special events, including the Annual General Meeting
  • opportunities to sign up for events and programs prior to public postings, and
  • up-to-date information about upcoming events, programs and activities.
Membership Fees:
  • Senior (60 yrs+) $15
  • Student (with valid ID) $15
  • Single $20
  • Family $30
  • Corporate $100
  • Life Member $500

All memberships and donations receive an official tax receipt (Charitable Registration No. 89793 2091 RR00001). Funds will be put towards trail maintenance, stewardship activities and education.
